This collection includes five subscriber favorites. It's the perfect "tasting menu" to explore the treasures featured in the monthly Birdmoss Box.
- Wish Charm
- Dandelions are a staple ingredient for the Foxes' herbal alchemy. Although the plants are plentiful, every part of them is valued; the Foxes have myriad uses for the roots, leaves, and blooms. Dandelion plants are used to aerate and prepare growing beds for other plants. The Foxes call the dandelion pappus a "wish" and this is their wish for you: that you will always find the next right step in your journey. Although a dandelion seed seems to waft aimlessly, it always ends up where it needs to go.
- Red Ritual Salt
- This sparkling red salt is a powerful purifier and activator. Use it to quicken your shell to guide you to the far shore. Pour a small amount into a dish (or shell) and place in your bedroom to clear the ether in your dreamspace. Your salt can also be used for various daily practices, or even in important meals.
- Turtle Spell - Stitch Marker Pin
- The Lake is home to long-lived Turtles who are recognized for their healing knowledge. Quicken your turtle pin by dipping it in fresh water. It will attract energies associated with good health and peaceful thoughts. Pin it to a seam in your clothing or inside your bag; or use it as a stitch marker to quicken your textile work.
- Stones of Tree Connection
- You receive two paired dragon bloodstone jasper stones that have been quickened with earth. Gift one stone to a Tree in your world, placing it at the roots or in a crevice while explaining your desire for friendship. Keep the other stone yourself. Because the stones are paired, you will share a special connection with the Tree going forward.
- Tiny Candle Supplies - Rolled Beeswax Candle Kit
- The underground village is relatively insulated and safe, but very little natural light reaches the living spaces. The Field Mice have developed a method of candle making which doesn't require heating a vat of wax. They wrap sweet-smelling sheets of beeswax around cotton wicking. Quicken the wick and wax with an intention as you roll it. Because each candle is so easy to make, you can perform this brief ritual on an as-needed basis. Each little candle sustains a bright flame for around 25 minutes.
Plate/bowl and other photo props are not included.
I was absolutely smitten by this little box. I have wanted a necklace with a dandelion forever but for some reason never got around to buying one, so it was especially lovely to get one. The other goodies were equally lovely and high quality and I can't wait to make the candles during ritual this fall! All in all a beautiful peak into what Birdmoss is all about.
Highly recommend getting this if you're on the fence on the subscription! If you like this box, you'll love the big ones!
I thoroughly enjoyed opening this box... I cannot wait for my first full-sized box to arrive. Everything is high quality and beautiful. The story cards are thought-provoking.
I originally got this for a friend and got a few things for myself, but looking at the introductory box, I got a little jealous, so I'll be getting myself one, as well!
Such a sweet little box! I love that I was able to share it with my two elementary aged children, who loved rolling the candles and lighting them right afterwards. We were able to talk about all of the different small ways we can make wishes. Lovely!
Everything in it was so charming and felt so magical.
Included in the Welcome Set are some dainty little treasures that I cannot wait to use! So thoughtful.
Even though it wasn’t technically a surprise, I loved opening each little gift in the welcome box. The sweet scent of the beeswax for the candles sort of set the tone. The stones for connecting with the tree were of amazingly good quality and the gesture is so sweet.
My favorite part was the necklace!! The pendant is beautiful in its simplicity and I immediately went to put it into a sterling silver chain because of sensitivities and to my surprise and delight, the chain was marked 925 so I didn’t need to do that even!
Lovely beginning to what I hope will be a long, magical journey ✨✨
I'm in love with the little turtle! The dandelion pendant is beautiful and has the weight of good jewelry. I'm looking forward to using the candle kit and the tree connection stones.
I loved everything about this cute starter box. I can't wait to see what the subscription box looks like!
I enjoyed this sampling of things to come with my subscription – It makes me excited to see what’s in store when I start getting my monthly boxes!
Not what I expected
Was pleasantly surprised at this cute little box. First thing I did was share the stone with my favorite tree and then came inside to make candles! So glad to have found Bird Moss and Shannon.
everything i have purchased from birdmoss has been wonderful. excellent customer service and very unique and fun gifts
This is such a delightful introduction to the delights Birdmoss has to offer. I am excited to create my first candles and create my own rituals.
Lovely box, but mine did not have the bottle with matches. Looking forward to first subscription box.
Hi Sharon! How disappointing that your Wooden Matches were missing from your order. I've just sent you an email to help resolve the issue. Please don't hesitate to reach out to shannon@birdmoss.com if you need any further assistance.
IT'S SO MUCH CUTER THAN I IMAGINED!!
it came exactly as described and the shipping was actually a lot faster than I expected! The tiny (cute) box it came in surprised me, but everything was neatly and carefully packed inside, and I think I appreciate it not wasting any room more than if it came in a bigger box! I absolutely adore it so much!! 10/10 will definitely be ordering from this site again! It makes my little crow brain happy!!
My first reaction at seeing such a tiny package in my mailbox was dissappointment. However, the instant I emptied the box onto the table, I was filled with delight. There are no fillers in this box. I have the perfect tree on my property to share the stones with and the candles are both beautiful and fun to make. I'm now excitedly looking forward to my first monthly box, no matter what size it turns out to be.
I have ordered several items over the last year from Birdmoss and I am so pleased with the quality of each item and the happiness they all bring to me. So glad I found this shop ❤️
Opening my first Birdmoss box was such a mini adventure... I have looked at the past. boxes but this is my first purchased one... I am so excited to start to receive my future boxes...
Omgosh it's great. Love every bit of it and can't wait for the next one.
This was the perfect way to get a taste of the magical world of Birdmoss! Loved it 💜💜
The Introduction to Birdmoss set is an enchanting collection in its own right, and a delightful assortment of items that reflect what will be found within the Birdmoss subscription treasure boxes.
I was very happy to receive the intro set as I felt it was a well rounded introduction before I received my first Birdmoss box. It shipped and arrived very quickly and the items were exactly as expected.
This is my first taste while I await my first Birdmoss box The Mushrooms and it did not disappoint!
I loved all the unusual items which definitely stirred my sense of wonder & Magic. This subscription is a gift to myself and it’s been quite awhile since I’ve experienced such anticipation for what’s next. Thank you for creating boxes of fantasies!
Introduction to Birdmoss Set
I love this small business! I can't get enough of browsing the store and wait in anticipation for each month's box of magic.
Cost of $37 is 1/15 of what it costs in the box. Hey
Sweet, fun, we'll packaged items
I was so very pleased to see that there was a small box of items that I had missed being a newer visitor to Birdmoss. As always, the added details made them even more precious! The one thing I would say was I missed having a little note to sort of tie it into the environment. Still, very much enjoyed, thank you!
But I'm not sure how to use some of the items, like the foxes veil kit? And my story card was cut short so I'm not sure what else it contained... But tips on usage would be great. Other than that, I loved it!
