Over time, the House of the Falcon has contributed both gargoyles and grotesques to line the Winter Palace’s parapets. The Palace’s busy season comes to an end as the snow melts from its roof. The resulting water pours through elaborate downspouts shaped like uncanny creatures. Quickened by the clear, cold runoff, these figures offer peace of mind, mental clarity, and protection from inner demons. It makes sense that the Falcons would build their spartan scrape nests on the Palace’s roof; its height reminds them of cliffs.
Your handcrafted cement figurine is about 2 inches tall. Each one is unique and its exact features may vary.
