Under the waves, the Selkies move in graceful arcs, as if writing in a looping script. Their watery glyphs cannot be seen to be read. However, they give you a piece of unusual cloth to learn on. Use water as your ink, and you’ll be able to see the shapes, briefly, before they fade and disappear.
You'll receive a sheet of specially-prepared calligraphy cloth (measuring about 4.5 x 9 inches) and a nylon paintbrush. Write or paint with water n the bluish-gray side of the cloth. Your inscriptions will last a few minutes before evaporating. You may find that making shapes and watching them slowly disappear is a calming experience.
Note that hard water may leave mineral deposits on the surface. Use soft or filtered water to ensure that no traces remain.
