The Foxes keep heavy tomes of cyanotypes and spore prints cataloging their botanical knowledge; but in the field, they often rely on illustrated textiles which can be knotted into sacks or worn as bandanas. They have sent this example for you to consult as you explore. However, it depicts only a few of the hundreds of Mushroom varieties in Birdmoss.
This tea towel features vintage mushroom motifs from the Danish botanical atlas Flora Danica. Made of lush organic cotton, it elevates even mundane kitchen tasks; or would make a lovely wall hanging or altar cloth. it's big enough (about 19x28 inches) that it could easily be made into an apron. Or a wall hanging. Or, of course, used for its intended purpose. It was designed in Denmark and produced in England.
Visual Guide to Mushrooms was featured in the Mushrooms Box (May 2022).

This is an excellent tea towel. The graphics are crisp and vibrant, and the fabric is heavy and high quality. I can't bear to get it stained so I'm using it as art instead of a towel!
It’s hard to find real tea towel anymore. But this one….I love the fabric and I love the print. I also love this company! We all need some magic and beauty.
