Treasures in the Misfits and Oddments Event may have minor flaws such as: irregular colors; bubbles in glass or resin; small chips; unusual size; naturally-occurring differences; a wrinkled label; or missing packaging. Some were prototypes and others were used for product photography.
In Birdmoss, sodalite is used to channel artistic expression and to inform the development of big plans. The architects and artisans of Pont Lacuna used the stone’s blue and white pigments to create the city’s hallmark tile motifs. Your stone has been quickened with salt water to draw inspiration from the sea and its lagoons.
Ethically sourced in South Africa, your sodalite measures about .75-1.5 inches. Each is unique. Stone of Design was featured in the Collector Box (November 2024).
