Handmade in Indonesia by a fair-trade artisan cooperative, these puzzle boxes are made from suar wood using traditional carving techniques. (Suar is also called monkeypod or rain tree wood.) Each puzzle box is composed of 4 pieces; slide them out in the correct order to reveal the compartment hidden inside.
Use them to corral your jewelry, loose change, or natural treasures like seashells. Or, give one as a gift and hide a special note inside!
Each is one-of-a-kind and incorporates natural variances in the wood. Exact sizes vary, but the fish is about 5.5"x2.75"x2.25" and the whale is about 7.5"x2.5"x2.25".
