Treasures in the Misfits and Oddments Event may have minor flaws such as: irregular colors; bubbles in glass or resin; small chips; unusual size; naturally-occurring differences; a wrinkled label; or missing packaging. Some were prototypes and others were used for product photography.
The fossils commonly known as Orthoceras are extinct "straight" cephalopods that lived around 370 million years ago. Like other cephalopods, they lived inside of their shells, had tentacles they could use to grab food, and used jet propulsion, squirting water to move.
Your fossil was quarried in Morocco.
From the Turtles: An Ancient Creature
Consider: the older the memory, the more solid it becomes. Eventually, memories become so dense that they must be chiseled from mountains. When you hold this fossilized creature in your hand, you transcend time. All that happened before will happen again, creating layer after layer of recollections.
