You receive a fountain pen with a wooden barrel. It has been quickened with oats, so that it, in turn, can fortify your plans and written words. It is accompanied by a cartridge of black ink, as well as a converter (refillable cartridge) so that you can use your own ink. Speak to your pen to assign its work.

Old-Fashioned Pen was featured in the Book of Days Box (December 2024).

Beautiful Pen for Special Writing Projects

This pen is beautiful with a smooth texture that makes it lovely to write with. I did indulge in the various color cartridges as this pen is for meditative journaling and spiritual contemplation. I've wanted a fountain pen for a while and this one has a special quality that makes picking it up feel like an act of contemplation and creativity.

Only suggestion I'd have is if there was anything that could be included about putting the cartridge in as there is a piece that comes inside the pen when shipped that had me stumped but that is a suggestion, NOT a negative.

I’m a bit picky when it comes to pens. This wooden fountain pen is a dream for writing. Heft is wonderful. And the ink cartridges flow smoothly. (I ordered a set of magical green ink cartridges). Absolutely dreamy!
