The Museum’s accumulation of scholarly texts rivals that of the city’s library. In addition to books that illuminate the Museum’s holdings, the Collector is also partial to books that re-tell the stories of Birdmoss: personal accounts of historic moments, family traditions, diaries.
This digital download includes printable files for two miniature books (including covers and pages with readable words) plus instructions. You'll need a printer; printer paper and card stock (optional); scissors and craft glue to assemble each one. The finished books measure about an inch in height, the perfect size for a 1/12 scale dollhouse or a miniature curiosity cupboard.
A version of this kit was featured in the Collector Box (November 2024).
Photo props are not included.
As always, this project was nicely produced. The writing is sweet, and the directions are clear. I added gold edging to my pages, and glued my cover to thin cardboard (tp roll flattened) as I didn’t have printable cover stock paper.
I have not had a chance to make the mini books yet but as a book lover and craft lover this is a perfect project. I am confident with the very clear instructions provided that these will be a joy to make.
These cute little books are the perfect addition to my little mouse collection, all from Birdmoss!
From the moment I opened the box, it was interactive, fun and exciting. I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait until my next box.
Since I cannot afford Birdmoss boxes at this time, I was thrilled when Shannon offered this little book for free. It was fun to pyt together and I will enjoy displaying it with my other miniature treasures. Thank you so much for your kindness.
I love watching subscriber's unboxings on YouTube and imagining that they are mine instead.
I got a physical version of this kit as part of the Collector Box and loved it, but I didn’t do the best job of putting it together, so I when I saw it available for purchase as a digital download, I thought I’d buy it and have another go, now that I’ve had a “practice run.” I’d love to see more digital downloads as part of the Birdmoss catalogue, especially of mini-books (which I adore). Thank you for adding this!
