Arriving in the Library, you look up. The ceiling is ornamented with a celestial mosaic of tiny blue and indigo tiles. But as your eyes adjust to the lamplight, you see some other glimmers: delicate, shining strands appear to outline other constellations. These constellations are shifting and transforming before your eyes. Three Spiders busily pluck and rearrange the filaments: measuring, trimming, weaving, knotting. You climb a winding staircase for a closer look. Various tools, including a measuring tape, rest on a nearby ledge.

Your measuring tape is marked in both centimeters and inches, with a total length of 60 inches.  It's about 2 inches across.  The Measuring Tape was featured in the Three Spiders Box (December 2025).

Photo props are not included.

Needed instructions

At first I thought mine was broken because it wouldn’t retract so I got a second one. Then someone explained you push on the padded sides to retract it. Now I have two working ones which is great because it’s handy and adorable but I could have used instructions.

Good size

This will come in handy to keep in my purse to measure whatever needs it.

Adorable and handy to carry with me in my travels. So much prettier than my clunky “toolbox” measuring tape that I used to carry.

I love everything that I received but I especially love the warbling bird that actually works! So fun.

Love the tape measure.

I bought 3 of these for gifts because they’re so cute and have metric on one side. It comes in very handy!

Handy tool

Tape measure is a perfect size to fit in my bag when I’m going shopping. Had to order another because my 3 year old granddaughter claimed the first one as hers!
