• Owl Pellet Dissection Kit: You receive a kit which includes a large Owl pellet, tweezers, brush, and a glass jar to display your finds. Your pellet contains dozens of tiny bones from creatures such as mice and shrews. The photo shows a partially-dissected pellet and all the bones we found inside.
• Iridescent Beetle Wings: The Owls have collected elytra from Sternocera aequisignata Beetles. They're beautiful for display, crafts, or jewelry-making. The Owls consider these shining wings to be a reminder that beauty can be found even in adverse circumstances.
• Glimpsing Stones - Polished Inclusion Quartz: You slowly exhale and allow your focus to drop beneath the surface of the stone. As your eyes adjust, you can make out the landscape: moss, soil, fallen trees, fog, sparkling rain. • Hedgehog Quills: You receive a tiny jar containing three minute Hedgehog quills. Baby Hedgehogs shed their quills two times as they come of age. • Powdered Eggshell - Cascarilla Portion: You join the Midwife and help her as she forages for the spent shells. She uses the larger pieces to make amulets for laboring women. The smaller pieces are collected, then ground into a chalky powder which she uses to ease transitions and to create protections. Use your powder to dust the ground or trace a circle of protection. Or, crumble a pinch into your bathwater when seeking comfort during stressful times.
