The dark, tannic pomegranate is the symbol of the Birdmoss Below. Its seeds are reminiscent of blood, wine, and shadow; most flinch away from the spray of juice when the fruit is opened. Therefore, it is the perfect hiding place for small secrets.
Your pomegranate-shaped box measures about 1.6x2 inches. It's made of a zinc alloy and finished with a burgundy glaze.

They are a gorgeous, rich color, have a little weight and will definitely last a lifetime. I used them to hide the beautiful acorn necklaces in for each of my cousins.
