Glittering Supplies - Rhinestoned Hummingbird Ornament Kit

A Goblin woman notices your curiosity and invites you to join her at her handiwork. She shows you how to stud ornaments with bright cabochons. Some might find this minute work tedious, but she encourages you to view it as a meditative practice.

The Glittering Supplies was featured in the Goblins Box (October 2026).

You will receive a kit containing supplies to create a hummingbird shaped sun catcher:  gems in 9 colors; a double-sided adhesive base, shaped like a hummingbird; a transparent string of beads; a diamond applicator tool; a keychain clasp, jump ring, and ball chain; a sorting tray; and a square of wax adhesive.  When finished, your hummingbird sun catcher measures about 13 inches long.  Hang it in your window or on your front door as a charming ornament.

Instructions:

1. Lay out your DIY kit and ensure you have all your sparkling gems and precision tools ready.
2. Pour a single color of gems into the provided sorting tray.  You may need to gently shake the tray to align the gems for easy picking.
3. Press the tip of the diamond applicator tool into the wax square.  This will make it easier to pick up gems.
4. Use the pen to carefully lift a single diamond from the tray.
5. Peel back the transparent film on your hummingbird shape and press the diamond onto its corresponding letter or symbol.
6. Once finished, apply firm pressure with your hands or a heavy book to ensure every gem is firmly in place.
7. Use the provided jump ring to attach the beaded strand to the bottom of your hummingbird.  Then, attach the provided keychain clasp and ball chain to the top.

This kit contains small parts, and is not intended for children under the age of 3.
