As you Dream of her, the Sleeping Serpent Dreams of you. In her Dream, you arrive in Birdmoss. In your Dream, she begins to wake. She stirs and blinks. In Birdmoss, lithops succulents are sometimes called “Serpent Eyes” because they seem to gaze upon you. These little stone-like plants will watch over the place they’re planted.
You will receive two lithops succulents that are about 1.5 inches long. Arrange your lithops in a rocky substrate, making sure the roots are covered, but not burying the rest of the plant. To mimic the succulents' natural desert habitat, water them rarely: when the stone-like plant appears slightly wrinkled, usually only twice a year in the late spring and mid-autumn. They need lots of bright, indirect light. These rock-like plants grow very slowly. As they grow, they develop long tap roots which may need a deeper container.
