Diya lamps like these are used during a variety of observances in a number of faiths and cultures. Your hand-made clay diya was made by a fair-trade artisan group in Porbandar, India. It measures about 1.8" across.
Clay Lamp and Candle was featured in the Pomegranate Grove Box (October 2025).
