As Twilight falls, the Bats awaken. This detailed carousel is adorned with four intricate Bats and crimson beads that evoke pomegranate seeds. . . or perhaps droplets of blood.
Powered by a tea-light candle, the Bats take flight, casting shadows across your room. This simple mechanism evokes feelings of wonder and nostalgia. It's a breathtaking gift for anyone who craves a little magic.
The easy-to-assemble carousel set includes four hand-painted wooden Bats with Czech glass beads, their hangers, the spinning attachment, and a glass votive holder. When assembled, it stands about 7 inches high. Candle not included. Each Bat is handmade and hand-painted in the Birdmoss studio in Indianapolis.
These Bats have been updated with glimmering paint on both sides of each charm.

I bought this item to send to my cousin in Connecticut, who has recently become a bit of an expert on bats. She received it and is delighted. She especially likes to watch the bats whirl around the lit candle when the lights are off. So thank you! It was a big hit!

The enchantment of Birdmoss' carousel charms cannot be overstated. Since I already had the fox & stars candle carousel, I ordered the bat charms with the delicate kinetic mobile. I suspended it (with additional cord) to hang above where I lie on my pillow at night. Now at bedtime I can blow softly to set the beautifully carved bats flying hypnotically above me while their ruby red jewels glistening under the light. No one creates magic like Birdmoss.
