After you enter the Palace’s immense doorway, it takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. In contrast to the white and gray landscape outside, the anteroom is rich with colors: deep browns and reds, exquisite blues and yellows. The facets embedded in the stained-glass windows scatter rainbows across the floor and walls. You hear birdsong and wonder if the birds depicted in the windows are magicked to sing; then you realize that the timbered ceiling is filled with real, fluttering birds, representing many Houses.
Your window decal measures about 8 inches in diameter and will work in any brightly-lit window in your home or car. (East, West, and South-facing windows are best.) Note that indirect sunlight won't create rainbow effects. For the best application:
- Clean the window
- Spritz the window with water
- Remove the backing from the cling
- Smooth it over the window
- Use a credit card to smooth away any bubbles
- Wipe off the surrounding area

My daughter saw how gorgeous mine was in my window so I bought her one. Her cats tried to attack hers so she moved it up higher in the window. The colors are so bright and gorgeous.
