The Crows determine your entitlements of travel in Birdmoss. They have sent you this Talisman to indicate that you have rights of entry, awareness, and feeling. In other words, you may visit Birdmoss; be aware of your visit; and engage in the experience with all of your senses.
This bronze-tone acorn is about an inch long. It comes with a waxed cord necklace with a lobster-claw clasp. The cord measures about 23 inches, plus an additional 2 inches of extension links.
Curious Dreamers will discover that the acorn is actually a locket. The cap unscrews to reveal a hidden chamber. That compartment holds a secret which will add a little mystery and purpose to your explorations in Birdmoss.
Of course, the locket is also perfect for other small, precious objects: tiny notes; special pebbles; baby teeth; locks of hair; seeds; rose thorns; or perhaps glittering beads.

I've been drawn to acorns for as long as I can remember. As I type this review I can look around and see three acorn caps and an acorn just on this side of the room. I often imagine I'm like an acorn (or a T.A.R.D.I.S. if you're into that kind of thing) in that my body is the acorn and I am the oak within (so much bigger on the inside!).
The Acorn Talisman is even better in person than it appears on the site. It has a nice heft to it, so it feels wonderful in the hand. The threading on the cap is very smooth and the cap itself is hollowed out, so no internal space is wasted. It arrived with two treasures in it (no spoliers!) and has room for more, if I were so inclined. It has a nice, supple cord and all the hardware like clasps and rings are well-made and well-aligned.
I've ordered from Birdmoss several times and get the monthly subscription box. I passed over the Acorn Talisman multiple times and am glad that I finally added it to my cart.
