You receive a tiny jar containing three minute Hedgehog quills. Baby Hedgehogs shed their quills two times as they come of age. The quills correlate to growth, maturity, and positive change. However, they generate feelings of tender nostalgia in the mothers, who treasure the dropped quills, especially because the young leave home so soon. The Hedgehog uses her collection of baby quills as sewing needles, imbuing her projects with complicated emotions.
