Later in the evening, the Owl archivist turns more reflective and serious. She presents you with a tiny silver book. She pictures a thin filament stretching between the book and you. The story it tells is yours.
When you open the book, the slip of paper inside reveals your story: "As the days grow darker, you grow wiser." Your stainless steel locket is accompanied by a 24" 925 silver-plated chain with a lobster claw clasp.
This locket was featured in the Owls Box (September 2021).
Tiny, magical. Perfect for anyone who loves owls and reading. The chain is long enough to easily slip over my head so I don’t have to fumble with a latch. That being said, if I want to switch the locket to a shorter chain occasionally I will need to replace the jump ring since the locket won’t come off the chain.
Owls have always held a special place in our family. My grandfather told stories about a ‘Wise Old Owl’ for bedtime. The beauty and wisdom of the message in this locket bring back such warm ancestral memories.
This owl book necklace has finally come back. I missed it the first time and I think it’s so beautiful.
